Eighteen months before the wedding in Yelapa, we went to City Hall for a short and sweet civil ceremony.
« hideUnfortunately, due to a quirk in California's Constitution, marriage equality has been put on hold until we repeal or overturn the segregated system imposed by Proposition 8. It's hard to celebrate our own marriage license when so many couples are denied the right to get one.
If you want to hasten the day when all of us are treated equally under the law, you can do so by giving your time and resources to the work of the Courage Campaign or Marriage Equality USA.
